ABOUT THE FOUNDER/ ADVENTURE LEADER
Leslie Barron
Leslie Barron Molina is the Founder and Adventure Leader of Land & Sea Adventures. She discovered her passion for science education while earning her Biological Science degree with a concentration in Marine Biology at California State University, Fullerton.
That passion was shaped through hands-on experiences working at The Reptile Zoo, where she overcame her own fear of spiders and snakes and now helps others do the same; at the non-profit Waterfront Education, where her love for marine science and teaching truly came alive; and as a Science teacher at King’s Academy, where she had the honor of showing 4th–8th grade students that science is not something to dread, but something that is woven into daily life, even in hobbies like baking.
Now, through Land & Sea Adventures, Leslie combines everything she has learned into one mission: to spark curiosity, nurture compassion for the Earth and its creatures, and inspire future leaders. What began as a small business has quickly grown into a movement, bringing science to life on land, at sea, and everywhere in between.
This is only the beginning. With your support, whether by joining a science session or sharing the vision with others, Leslie hopes to expand the adventure, especially into the water, where even more discoveries await. Thank you for being part of this journey!
